Optimus Cafe specialises in vegan food, and is located in a great area called Kitahama. Kitahama is well-known for its great cafes, river views, and also the famous Nakanoshima Rose Garden. Optimus cafe has a great little terrace that overlooks the river, so I highly suggest sitting out on the terrace overlooking the river if the weather allows. Otherwise, you may still get to see some of that lovely view if you sit near the back of the store.
Both times I've visited Optimus Cafe I've ordered a Buddha Bowl and really enjoyed the balance of flavours and textures. My friends who have visited this cafe have ordered other menu items and have all been really happy with their meal.
Take-out is available, so if the wait to get a table is going to take a while, why not grab some food to go and enjoy a relaxing picnic under the trees across the river?
After lunch I suggest checking out some of the other cafes in the area like the popular Brooklyn Roasting Company, or simply strolling along the river or chilling in the park until you're reading for dinner at Garb Weeks :)
